Kjellbergs Paracord
Found this great little Swedish company on Facebook.. They make excellent Paracord Bracelets in a very original and imaginative style! As I just love all things connected with Scandinavian Militaria I was over the moon to recieve one of their Metal army button braceletsfor review!!
These are very well made and tidy, and a change to the usual plastic snap buckle type you see all the time on the uk bushcraft market.
Also of intrigue is the firesteel incorporated bracelet the make! I just love these as an alternate way of carrying a fire-starter and paracord in-one.

NCWR jacket and a chilly camp
Tried out both the NCWR jacket and the NOMAD jacket from TACUP Gear at a recent Bushcraft meet... I under estimated the cold though, so was a bit chilly on the night (stupidly left my Swanndri at home and an extra blanket... Thankfully the second night was a bit warmer!
I did however manage to use the NCWR jacket as en extra sleeping bivvy.. (I zipped it up and put it over the lower half of my body survival style!).. Which worked a treat.
I'm going to make some mods to the jacket which I will post up later.
Need to figure a better sleep system out.. Time for a Jervens bag I think!!

Navajo bread recipee
to make approx ten.
600g strong white bread flour (plus extra for dusting).
1 heaped teaspoon sea salt.
2 heaped tablespoons of baking powder.
1 teaspoon caraway seed (my ingredient).
6 tablespoons olive oil.
mix flour, salt, baking powder and herbs in a large bowl (use a fork). Make a well in centre, pour in some olive oil & 150ml warm water.
Use fork & bring in flour from the edge.
Add more water if it is too dry..
Wet hands & make a ball of dough.
Dust hands & on a clean surface knead dough until it's smooth and elastic (5-10 mins).
Dust dough with flour & cover then leave to relax..
Divide dough into equal amounts, oil hands & squeeze to flatten.. Dust as you go.
Turn twist pat and slap them (each one should be 1cm thick!
Cook for a few mins.
